LFHS Christopher Quon Memorial Scholarships
In honor of Chris’ time as a varsity athlete in both soccer and varsity lacrosse in high school and in college, annual scholarships are awarded to Lake Forest High School senior lacrosse athletes and LFHS senior soccer athletes (both male and female) who will be playing their sport in college. Recipients are chosen based on the following qualities: shows character and integrity on and off the field; demonstrates a true passion and spirit for the sport- a “won’t give up” attitude; and displays the qualities of a team player- someone who truly cares for his teammates. Congratulations to this year’s (2023) winners of the Lake Forest High School Christopher Quon Scholarship Award! David presented a check to the following winners: Caroline Keil (lacrosse, Denver University); Chelsea Tzau: (lacrosse, Colby College); Jack Carrabine (lacrosse, Colgate University); Jack Rice: (soccer, Denison University). Each of these seniors demonstrated a passion for their sport and teammates, a love for their community and are planning to continue to play their sport in college. We are so proud of you all and we know Chris is smiling!
