This summer, the CQF is helping Beacon Place with their soccer program!
Beacon Place provides a summer lunch program and a safe haven for up to 200 Waukegan and North Chicago children twice a week! Many of the children enjoy playing soccer after lunch, and this summer the CQF was honored to provide all the soccer equipment. With the help of many volunteers- many from LFHS’ soccer teams, the children also received some fun instruction. Many thanks to Domenic and Adam La Vitola for their leadership in taking care of all the set-up and coordination of the soccer volunteers!
